Terms of Service

By using QR Smoke you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

The service

QR Smoke turns a link or text you enter into a static QR code that you can download. A static code contains exactly what you typed. We do not host a redirect, so we cannot switch a code off.

Free plan

The free plan lets you make codes and download a PNG with a small "made with QR Smoke" line below the code, without an account.

Pro subscription

• Pro costs $3/month, billed monthly in US dollars. Taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.
• Pro removes the watermark from PNG downloads and adds SVG download.
• You need an account (a sign-in by emailed link) to subscribe.
• The subscription renews each month until you cancel.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the account menu ("Manage subscription"). Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep Pro until then. We do not refund part of a month after the refund window below.

Refunds

If you ask within 14 days of a charge, we will refund that charge in full. Email qr-smoke-support@botitout.com from the address on your account. Access to Pro ends when the refund is issued.

Your content

You are responsible for what you encode. Do not use QR Smoke to make codes that point to illegal, harmful or deceptive content. We may suspend accounts that do.

No guarantees

The service is provided as is. We aim for codes that scan reliably, but you should test a printed code before relying on it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept it.
